“I love my job. The practice of massage therapy brings together everything I’m passionate about: physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing and longstanding joyful relationships that benefit both me and my clients. Laughter, tears, comfort and progress. If I won the lottery I would continue to work as an RMT. Just not full-time ;)"

I’ve been an RMT since 2008, working in clinical, home, and independent‑living settings to help people manage chronic and acute pain, sports injuries, pre‑ and post‑natal symptoms, and the physical effects of stress and anxiety.
My licensed home‑based clinic is located at 987 Fernie Road in South Kamloops, near Thompson Rivers University. The space is quiet, spotless, and private, with free driveway parking and no stairs for easy access. As a private practice, the reception area isn’t open to the public, so please wait to be welcomed in if you arrive early.
I believe strongly in preventative care and have seen how emotional, physical, and environmental stress accumulates over time—and how regular massage can help people regain their wellbeing.
I graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy’s three‑year program in 2008, then passed my board exams with distinction. Since then, I’ve completed seventeen years of continuing education to stay current with emerging research and techniques. I’m especially interested in neuroscience, nutrition, and exercise physiology, and I integrate that knowledge into my treatments.
My clinic is a safe, inclusive space that respects gender diversity, sexual orientation, race, age, and culture. A trusting relationship between client and therapist is essential, and I welcome feedback that helps support that experience.
Appointments can be booked online, by phone or text at 250‑682‑1428, or by e‑mail at erin@efrmt.ca.
I’m accepting new clients and appreciate referrals. New patients are asked to contact me by e‑mail, text, or phone before booking to ensure I can accommodate them.
Clients may change or cancel appointments online, by text, or by e‑mail up to 24 hours in advance without fees. Cancellations within 24 hours require full payment, as the time has been reserved and cannot be rebooked. In cases of illness or medical emergency, no fee is charged. Please cancel as early as possible if you’re unwell.

The standards for Massage Therapy in British Columbia are among the highest in the world, with rigorous requirements for both attaining and maintaining registration. RMTs are regulated under the Health Professions Act and the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC.
RMTs are trained in anatomy, physiology, neurology, kinesiology, and pathology, and are skilled in clinical assessment, therapeutic exercise, sports massage, pre‑ and post‑natal care, and treatment of acute injuries and chronic pain.
In my practice, nervous system regulation is central. Every treatment—regardless of the goal—supports the nervous system and is designed to be relaxing. I do not follow a “No Pain, No Gain” approach. I’m always happy to discuss the science behind this, though most clients find the treatment speaks for itself. My priority is helping you find the right fit; if another RMT or health professional would better support your needs, I have a broad network for referral.

I bill insurers directly whenever possible to reduce out‑of‑pocket costs. I do not bill Worksafe or ICBC. Payment can be made by e‑transfer to erin@efrmt.ca, Mastercard, Visa, debit Mastercard, debit Visa, cash, or cheque.
Please send e‑transfers on the day of treatment, as late payments require additional follow‑up.
